Welcome!
Readers--
Ok, so I made an oopsie. I’m still trying to figure out this format, and somehow deleted my initial welcome post, so here’s to take two!
If this is your first time here at ‘Lee’s Life’, welcome! Technically today is only marking about 24 hours of this blog being live anyways, so I doubt many people even saw the initial post. However, I wanted to redo it for myself, and just in case there are any new people.
So, Hi! My name is Lee, and I’m a freshman in college. For the longest time, I felt like I had to have all the answers about what I want to do with my life. I mean, when you’re a senior in high school, they sure make you feel like you have to have it all figured out. They tend to ask you, ‘where do you want to go to school?’, ‘what’s your major going to be?’, and so forth. For the longest time I felt like all I could do was become a teacher, because I like working with people, but once I actually got to college, I realized that’s not at all what I wanted. I mean don’t get me wrong, I love working with kids, but it just isn’t what I want to do with my life. A lot of my classmates were already enrolled in the bachelors & master's duo, where they will graduate in five years with a degree in teaching, and then dive right into it. I have so much respect for those people, but it just isn’t for me.
I barely know if college is the right route, yet alone what I want to do with my life in the next five years. So, this is me figuring it out! I love reading and writing, so (with the advice from my roommate) I’m creating this blog. I want to share on a wide range of topics, from mental health to college advice, short stories and poetry I’ve written, and maybe some of my silly little adventures. I’d like to take you all on my journey with me, so why not give this blog thing a try?
Thank you for reading (it means more to me than you know), I hope you stay for a while.
Signing off, Lee :)

Lee,
You don't have to figure it all out. Life is a journey, not a race. Enjoy the ride!
I love this idea, and most of the time life is just trying the things that speak to you when they come up. Nothing has to be permanent, and just listening to what calls to us and trying it helps make the day to day feel lighter. I read all your posts so far, and I’m super excited to follow along as you write more! Love you! 💕
